Christy Rowney

Christy was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, to pursue a degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Christy learned to fly airplanes at an early age but discovered her passion lay in the business side of aviation. While in college, Christy met her husband, with whom she has shared over 20 wonderful years, traveling extensively with the Air Force.

Over her career, Christy has gained diverse professional experience across various industries and earned an MBA in Marketing. She currently serves as the Director of Development for a prominent private school in Florida. This leadership role has given Christy invaluable insight into the unique security challenges and needs faced by private schools.

Outside of her professional life, Christy is deeply committed to her community. She volunteers with a local dog rescue organization and at her church. In her free time, she loves exploring new places and adventuring outdoors with her husband and son.

As a board member of Angel Force Foundation (AFF), Christy is honored to contribute to the mission of improving child safety in schools. AFF is revolutionizing the approach to school safety, empowering non-public institutions to access essential child protection services. Christy looks forward to being a part of the team advancing the critical mission of safeguarding children and creating safer school environments.
