Next Step Program (NSP)

Holly Doering has spent nearly two decades serving the military community alongside her husband as a proud Air Force spouse. Throughout 17 years of military life—including two deployments, countless TDYs, and a two-year unaccompanied short tour—she has witnessed firsthand both the sacrifices of military service and the resilience of military families.

Driven by a servant’s heart, Holly has dedicated countless hours to supporting service members and their loved ones. She has served as a Key Spouse, volunteered at numerous military events, including Air Force Balls, and has always been passionate about ensuring military families feel connected, supported, and cared for.

One of Holly’s proudest accomplishments came in 2014 when she organized and led a community fundraiser that raised more than $19,000 for the families of four service members who tragically lost their lives during a military training mission. That experience reinforced her belief that strong communities can make an incredible difference during life’s most difficult moments.

As the Director of Angel Force Foundation’s Next Step Program (NSP), Holly is passionate about helping service members and veterans successfully transition into civilian life. She understands that leaving the military involves much more than finding employment—it means rediscovering purpose, building new support systems, and navigating challenges that many people never see. Holly works to connect veterans and their families with valuable resources, career opportunities, mentorship, and mental health support so they can confidently move forward into the next chapter of their lives.

Holly believes every veteran deserves to know they are valued long after their military service ends. Through the Next Step Program and the mission of Angel Force Foundation, she is committed to ensuring that no service member or military family has to face transition alone.

Her heart for service, compassion for others, and unwavering commitment to strengthening military families embody the values of Angel Force Foundation. Holly is honored to serve those who have served our country and remains dedicated to helping veterans turn life’s transitions into new opportunities for growth, purpose, and success.
