Yvonne Shanklin

President 

Yvonne Shanklin is a lifelong advocate for leadership, mentorship, financial education, and community service. Originally from a small town in Ohio, Yvonne set a personal goal at an early age to build her life in Florida. In 1990, she achieved that dream and has proudly called Florida home ever since, spending the last 20 years serving and investing in the Crestview community.

As a licensed financial advisor and business owner, Yvonne has dedicated her professional career to helping individuals and families build financial literacy, create lasting legacies, and achieve long-term financial security. Her passion for education and empowerment extends far beyond her profession and into every aspect of her community involvement.

Yvonne has been an active member of the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce for more than 15 years. During her tenure, she has served on both the General Board and Executive Board, including five years as Strategic Planning Chair, where she helped guide organizational growth, community partnerships, and long-term initiatives benefiting local businesses and residents.

One of Yvonne’s greatest passions is mentoring young people. She has served as a mentor with the Take Stock in Children program for nine years and now serves on the organization’s committee, helping shape opportunities that empower students to reach their educational and personal goals.

Family remains at the center of Yvonne’s life. As the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, she finds her greatest joy in watching them grow, learn, and discover their unique gifts. She believes grandparents play a vital role in providing wisdom, patience, encouragement, and stability, helping create the village that every child needs to succeed.

Yvonne is also deeply committed to supporting her community through numerous civic, charitable, and volunteer organizations. Whether serving in leadership roles, mentoring youth, or helping families navigate their financial futures, she consistently seeks ways to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Yvonne enjoys gardening—although she jokingly admits that weeds seem to thrive more than her plants. Nevertheless, she continues the challenge with the same determination and optimism that have defined her life and career.

As the incoming President of Angel Force Foundation, Yvonne brings decades of leadership experience, a servant’s heart, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening families, empowering youth, supporting educators, veterans, and first responders, and helping build safer, stronger communities. Her vision, integrity, and dedication make her uniquely qualified to lead the Foundation into its next chapter of growth and impact.
